Keeping a bakery counter at the right temperature is a tricky bit of science. If you’re off by even a couple of degrees, you’re in trouble. Your pastries either dry out and get chewy, or your croissants lose that perfect, flaky crunch. That’s why we build our replacement radiant heaters to be steady. They ramp up and cool down fast, which means you won’t accidentally torch the top of a delicate loaf of bread while the middle is still cold. Easy swaps, better efficiency We use high-purity quartz glass so the heat gets through without any roadblocks. And since nobody wants to spend their afternoon rewiring a display case, we stick to standard R7s or SK15 connectors. You just pop the old one out and drop ours in. Simple. If you’re looking to save on power, we’ve got gold-coated reflectors. They basically bounce the heat back down toward the food, so you aren’t wasting energy heating the ceiling of your display case. A quick heads-up on the hardware Now, a word of caution. High-wattage tubes are great for those slammed, high-traffic counters, but they can be hard on your equipment. If you’re running 500W or more in a small space, take a look at your sockets. Look for any signs of charring or “carbonization.” Cheap sockets just can’t handle the heat of a high-precision element and they’ll burn out. It’s also worth double-checking that your voltage is stable, otherwise, you’ll find yourself replacing filaments way more often than you should.
